This weekend the UK Canoe Slalom racing calendar is coming to Tees Barrage International White Water Centre (TBIWWC). There are two full days of action with paddlers flooding in from all corners of the UK and competing to run the white water course in the quickest time whilst negotiating the slalom gates.

The event held over 13th-14th October at this world class facility promises to attract the best slalom paddlers including several of Tees Active Sports Academy members.

Chris Gibbens, Centre Manager at TBIWWC said “Canoe slalom is a spectacular sport to watch as it demands a vast amount of skill, stamina and courage. The series of races across the weekend promises to be a great event and we welcome spectators to come and watch the action unfold. Whether you are interested in watersports or not it will be an entertaining spectacle to watch for people of all ages as well as families.”
