Tees Tuesdays

Tees Barrage and Air Trail have teamed up with River Tees Rediscovered, River Shack, the Teesside Princess and Wheelyboats to create Tees Tuesdays!

River Tees Rediscovered have been funded by the National Lottery to offer subsidised boat trips on the river, linked walks and visits to key locations on the river, for all ages and abilities. These locations include: Tees Heritage Park, Yarm Bridges, Teesdale way, Preston Park Museum and grounds, Butterfly world, Stockton Riverside and Tees Barrage visitor centre, dipping pond, Air Trail and local cycle paths.

We are offering a joint ticket: Return trip on RiverShack’s River boat Juno from Preston park and a session on our high ropes course, Air Trail! The Teesside Princess will be offering trips taking in Tees Barrage and the Tees Heritage Park.

The scheme is hoping to get more people on the river, learning and enjoying some of the wonderful sites and activities the Tees has to offer.
