Why not get involved in the annual Daisy Chain Regatta?
The event will be held on Saturday 6th July 2019 at Tees Barrage International White Water Centre. Get a group of your friends or work colleagues together and go for glory. The winning team will win a white water rafting experience each to be used as Tees Barrage. It’s always a day full of competitiveness but it’s also about having a great day by the river whilst helping to raise funds for families affected by autism. If you don’t fancy competing why not come and show your support down on the river banks.
Katy Carmen, Fundraising and Communications Manager speaking about last years event said: “Every year the event gets bigger with the teams growing ever more competitive while still being a fun event for all the family to come along and see the teams battle it out. It’s also an important fundraiser in the Daisy Chain calendar with each team raising a minimum of £400 to take part. It was fantastic to see so many companies taking part, without this kind of support we couldn’t offer our services to the 2,000 families registered with us.”
Registration starts from 9am and teams will battle their way through the heats right the way through to the finals – it’s all to play for to become the 2019 Daisy Chain Boat Race champions.
Cost: £20 entry fee, with a minimum sponsorship of £400 per team of 8 (£50 sponsorship per head)
